5. Reinstall Modern Warfare 2. The Modern Warfare 2 game should be uninstalled from the console and then reinstalled if the crashing issue still exists. The problem should be resolved by it. So to do so for PS4 and PS5 follow the steps: Choose Storage from Settings. Choose Modern Warfare 2 from the list, and then Click Delete.
When I start the campaign, it loads until the difficulty choice, after that it freezes at infinite loading. Same problem here This morning the game worked well but now, after update, when i try to continue active campaign the loading screen falls in to an infinite loading. By now, it still loading after 30 minutes waiting time. Not sure if this is the solution or not, but once I got the message that this would not open I did the following in this order. Restore License for PS5. Rebuilt Data Base of PS5. Ejected disc, put disc back in, and reinstalled. It has now turned off and on still working. If someone wants to try this and it works I will pass this along to others. The first two missions it hanged forcing me to turn off my ps4 by pressing on the power button.
