Even the sportiest Focus, the ST, was a five-door hatchback. Ford did give the Focus a mild facelift in 2015, but the styling changes were restricted to the front and rear, with the doors not altering at all. Finding a second-hand door shouldn’t present too many problems the Focus sold in reasonable numbers and many ended up in recycling yards.
If I'm reading it right the maximum number of Mk2 ST's licenced to be on the road was 9,650 (in 2012) and there were still 8,443 in 2017. Not bad considering their current age, mpg and and how much they are to tax.

This seems to happening maybe 50% of the time I try to start the car. Usually taking the key out and trying again is enough to fix it, but that might take several goes. Its a 2008 Mk2.5 model. I had a search of the forum for the problem and for most others with ignition problems the key wont turn at all. The steering lock isn't on either.
