Remove (or at least set aside) the vac reservoir on the back of the block. The bottom bolt and the electric connections are not too bad. The top bolt comes from the gearbox side and is under the termostat housing, and can be removed with a wobble bar (you can't see it though!). The third bolt is above the solenoid, and not visible.
Re: citroen c8 starter motor removal Post by Gibbo2286 » Wed Oct 25, 2017 5:18 pm I can't see the fitting of a starter motor on a 2.0 Litre HDI engine varying much whichever model it's fitted in, just the access to it would be different, all three of my recent HDIs have been the same, three Allen head bolts through the gearbox bell housing.
